DR ICE Programme

What is the rationale?

OLEVI facilitators will gain a deep understanding of OLEVI’s new codified standards for outstanding learning based on the DR ICE model. These new standards can be used to improve colleagues’ ability to plan for and evaluate any learning opportunities, from professional development to subject curriculum to individual lessons.

The session will provide facilitators with valuable tools from new models to an audit of professional skills, to support all colleagues develop greater clarity, confidence and competence in facilitating outstanding learning.

How does it work?

The online module is 2 hours long and is facilitated by one of OLEVI’s Professional Facilitators.

What is the impact?
Full attendance of this programme will enable delegates to:
• Explain the new OLEVI standards for Learning to others
• Plan and evaluate their own impact on others learning, from lessons to professional development, against these standards.
• Delegates will use various tools, including new activities, models and audits, to engage and challenge other staff and students understanding of what constitutes outstanding learning.

This programme is designed for OLEVI Facilitators to refresh but also extend their understanding of high impact facilitation.
